Ocean Heroes is one of the organisations we quietly support, and one that means a lot to us.
They run free surfing events for children on the autism spectrum and their families across Australia. The focus is simple: give kids a safe, supported space to experience the ocean, build confidence, and just enjoy being out in the water.
We provide product for the volunteers who give their time to run the events across NSW, WA and QLD. It’s a small thing, but it helps on long event days and is our way of backing the people making it all happen behind the scenes.
This isn’t a traditional marketing initiative. It’s something that came from being involved.
Stef, the founder of Don’t Dairy, has volunteered at Ocean Heroes events for several years. Being on the beach and seeing the program first-hand is what connected us to it in the first place.
That’s why we keep supporting Ocean Heroes and their free surf events. For us, it fits what we want to be a part of at Don’t Dairy. Real people, real environments, and supporting everyday Australians.
